| Bio: | I'm on lj because i broke my back and i'm in rehab so its hard sometimes 4 ppl to contact me so they can see how im going and stuff. was on a boat day before new years eve, went over VERY big wave very fast = burst fracture of L1 vertibrae, which means what it sounds like. had a 6 hour operation which involved the removal of the burst vertibrae, took out a rib, cut it up and bolted it together, and put it in my back in place of L1 and bolted it to the vertibrae above and below it. 6 weeks laying flat in royal adelaide. now i am paralysed from the knees down, my hamstrings (the backs of my thighs) don't really work, and my bum muscles don't work, but my knees and my quads (the fronts of my thighs) do work. and now i can walk with crutches and splnts on my feet to sop them from dragging on the floor. So thats the story/.
